And on top of that, each clue is the form of a fun riddle! Here’s just a sample of ONE of the scavenger hunt clues: “When Cupid’s arrow strikes, lovebirds get flirty. Go to the place where you put dishes that are dirty!” Fun, right? Let’s get started!
How To Make A Scavenger Hunt At Home
Start by adding these darling bag cover designs to the front of white lunch bags. You can print them off and adhere the design to the bag OR you can use the provided template to print these darling bag cover designs directly onto the white lunch bags. You will want a total of 5 clue bags for this scavenger hunt!
Fill each bag with the activity description card and any printables or additional supplies that might be required for the game. These activities are the challenges the family must complete before reading their next scavenger hunt clue.
Valentine’s Day Scavenger Hunt Ideas:
Now it is time to add the scavenger hunt clues and hide the bags!
Valentine’s Day Scavenger Hunt Riddles
Take the six location clue cards and add one to the bottom of each bag. The only clue that will not be placed on a bag is the first note that explains the game & offers the first clue. It reads: Love is in the air and there is no need to fear – Cupid is busy spreading love this time of year! He’ll show you the way with clue after clue But before your next hint – a task you must do!… The clue cards were created to send your family to places you would find in a typical home, including:
The Garage The Sink or Dishwasher A Bookshelf A Microwave The BBQ Grill The Shower
Place all the clue bags in the various locations around the home as indicated by the clues. With the exception of the first clue, which explains the game, it doesn’t matter what order you go in.
To finish it all off, place a special Valentine’s Day gift or treat at the very last location of your hunt. Top the gift off with this sweet gift tag. When your family is ready to play, give them the first scavenger hunt clue. When they find the clue bag – have them open the clue bag to reveal the activity. After completing the challenge, they can peak at the bottom of the bag to read their next clue.
