We loved the idea of the penny date so of course, we had to add our own little spin. Penny Date Invite
Begin by giving your sweetie this ADORABLE invite made by the ever-so-talented Carisa of Messes to Memories. We included a little icon where you could actually attach the penny that your date needs to bring in order to play the game. As die-hard glue-dot fans, we slapped one little dot on the card and pressed our penny on it. Penny Date invite done {Ok you should probably give it to your honey so they know what’s up! :p}
Penny Date Activities
The next step is super easy. Print the instructions and a little game we came up with, Intersection Interview! Your date will choose a number, and for each intersection, you can cross off that number on the tracker at the bottom of the instructions AND ask a question. This will make your spontaneous date night a little enlightening as well!
Once you have hit the previously selected number of turns, make your date! It might be a park or restaurant {NICE!} or maybe a movie theater {Good choice} or it might just be a vacant lot somewhere. Wherever you are—make it work! If you plan ahead you could bring a simple picnic dinner along, or maybe your favorite board game for two. And honestly, if you don’t have any of those things, you still have your interview questions—but best of all, you have each other. Just enjoy your time together and get ready to spend some pennies…

And speaking of enjoying your time together… this cute date idea may get a little more intimate with the next printable… This adorable idea can be used as code if you have littles running around 😉 or as a sweet, way to tell your love that you are ready for some lovin’! Each time you are ready for some alone time together :p simply say that you have a penny. That little penny goes into your special love jar! {How fun would this be to give to newlyweds?!}
