How to Achieve a Sleek Bubble Ponytail
1. Spray roots for extra sleek bubble ponytail.
When it comes to achieving a sleek look, Marjan recommends spraying TRESemmé Tres Two Extra Hold Hair Spray at your roots, holding the product about two inches from your hair. Then, brush through to create an extra sleek and smooth look.
2. Brush hair into a mid ponytail.
After your hair is smoothed down, gather all of your hair into a mid ponytail. You want the ponytail to sit right between your ears.
3. Smooth down baby hair.
After you have your ponytail in place, spritz either a toothbrush of your fingertips with the same TRESemmé hair spray and smooth down any baby hair or flyaway pieces. This will help take your sleek bubble ponytail to the next level.
4. Apply dry shampoo throughout ponytail.
Spritz TRESemmé Volumizing Dry Shampoo throughout your ponytail for added texture.
5. Tease the base of the sleek bubble ponytail.
Before creating the bubble, spritz TRESemmé Volumizing Dry Shampoo at the base of your ponytail and then gently backcomb the hair. This will help create more texture and volume in the bubble. Then, brush over the teased section to smooth down.
6. Place first hair tie to create a bubble.
To create your first bubble, secure a hair elastic about two inches down from the base of your ponytail. Marjan recommends using a contrasting hair elastic color to your hair. This will help the bubbles pop more. After you created the bubble, gently pull apart the sides to create more volume.
7. Repeat steps 5 and 6.
This step is pretty simple, repeats steps 4 through 6 until you reach the end of your hair.
8. Finish with hair spray.
After your sleek bubble ponytail is all done, finish off with the same TRESemmé hair spray you used previously.
9. Add hair accessories to your sleek bubble ponytail.
This last step is all about having fun with your style! If you’d like, add some hair clips or pins, or even use scrunchies instead of hair elastics to add pops of color throughout your sleek bubble ponytail.

You’ll be left with effortless waves that require no heat at all!
2. Short Styles
Short hairstyles never fully went away, but we’ve definitely been seeing a lot more of them lately. Marjan predicts this will be a bug trend this coming season.
3. Bangs Variations
Curtain bangs have been and are still taking over, but maybe it’s time for a new fringe style? Marjan explained how she thinks we’ll start seeing wispy styles of bangs throughout the spring and summer as opposed to thick curtain styles.
4. Try New Styles
Marjan stressed how she’s styling her hair more than ever at home! She explained how it’s the perfect time to experiment with new styles that you may not be totally comfortable wearing out or to the office. Plus, with everyone wearing a face mask, your hair is an amazing way to express yourself!
5. Hair Accessories
Marjan’s secret to always having Zoom-ready hair? Hair accessories! She explained how one of her favorite hacks is leaving a headband or hair clips by her computer. This comes in handy for those last-minute Zoom calls. Even though many of us are still spending a lot of time at home, that doesn’t mean we can’t experiment with new hair accessories and styles, like this sleek bubble ponytail.
