The holidays are meant to be spent surrounded by family and food, but sometimes circumstances keep you home with just your love. Don’t let a Thanksgiving spent “alone” turn into a sad event! With these beautiful printables by Crystal Nale of A Well Feathered Nest, this Thanksgiving in will turn into one of your favorites!
Food prep can be daunting any day of the week, but Thanksgiving especially makes us shake! These fantastic recipes are made for two! There’s no reason to eat an 18 lb turkey for three weeks… We chose our three favorites to make your Thanksgiving meal perfect: Twice – Baked Sweet Potatoes Thanksgiving Turkey for Two Amber’s Sourdough Stuffing We linked up to Taste of Home for each of the recipes, but Crystal also made the most adorable recipe cards! Turkey, sweet potatoes, and stuffing are the perfect staples for a Thanksgiving feast for two! Add a favorite fresh or frozen veggie, some rolls, and you’ve got a spread fit for a king… and his queen 😉
Once the food is taken care of the next thing {okay, maybe this takes precedence over food in our house…} is the decor! We love the adorable 8 x 10 print Crystal made. Every time we look at it we are reminded how true it is, we really do have everything to be thankful for when we’re together.
To help both you and your spouse express your gratitude on this Thanksgiving day we put a twist on an old classic and came up with: I’m Thankful Four… Crystal created her own version of Connect Four and made the most adorable game card and pieces. The best thing about all these little circles? They are only a perfect 1″ hole punch away! {Those circle punches just make life so much easier!}
Each turn you will place your color of token and say what you are thankful for. {Don’t forget to say how grateful you are to be with your spouse!}
There are also the cutest little pumpkin name cards! We love displaying them in pinecones! Bring the outside in to your autumn table.
To add an extra special touch to your place settings, we have also included a silverware holder that doubles as a thankful list! Just cut along the lines, tuck and tape the flaps to the back of the “pocket.” We love to use glue dots for simple, but strong, stay-ablity power {that’s totally a thing right?} The great thing about this printable pack is that it is perfect all season long and will keep you looking on the bright side of a tough situation.
We hope these little touches will make your little Thanksgiving a holiday to remember. Even when we are faced with less than ideal circumstances, knowing that we are sharing them with our spouse is what gets us through!
